Designer Spotlight: Zacasha

Zacasha Jewelry is a super fun and vibrant collection of Bohemian style jewelry, which is lately popular because of their signature tassel necklaces. Founded by designer Jennifer Belcourt, she became inspired by her years of living in Bali And bohemian style, which is apparent in her mystical collection today. 10 years ago Jennifer started designing a collection of necklaces by working with the traditional Balinese tassel and using different techniques and materials from all the different islands and combining that with her own sense of style and color. Zacasha was born.

Staying true to the land that inspired her collection, her pieces are still crafted by hand in Indonesia. Throughout her collection, you will see the work and craftsmanship native to each Indonesian island which had a hand in producing her pieces. The necklaces are made with crystals, Mala beads, fresh water pearls, and lava stone beads and have knotting in between each bead a speciality of the island of Madura’s. The fresh water pearls come from the island of Lambok, the lave stones beads from the volcanoes of Mt. Batur in Bali and Mt. Semeru in Java and the Mala bead is made from the seed of the Ganitri tree. Many pieces within the collection are used as good luck charms and radiate the boho feel of the line.

And what’s even better is the vast amount  of colorful options they offer – and if you’re a fly fashionista you can definitely appreciate the fact that you’ll stay on trend as much of the collection coordinates with the Pantone Fall 2015 Color Scheme!
